Job summary

Aliz is seeking a Customer Engineer to help enterprise customers succeed with Google Cloud and Rabbit. You’ll onboard, integrate, and optimize BigQuery usage, delivering measurable cost savings while staying hands-on and customer-facing.

You will partner with the core engineering team, own adoption for a portfolio of customers across the US, and translate customer feedback into product improvements. Remote-friendly, with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical, customer-facing role with hands-on engineering
• Deep BigQuery expertise — slots, reservations, pricing models, INFORMATION_SCHEMA, query optimization
• Strong SQL, and comfort in backend code (any language) to integrate, script, and debug in a customer environment
• Hands-on GCP experience with production workloads on Google Cloud
• Customer-facing instinct to run technical conversations with enterprise teams
• Familiarity with agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) on real production work
• Autonomy — small team, no middle management, own customer outcomes

Responsibilities

• Own technical adoption for a portfolio of enterprise customers — onboarding, configuration, and integrating Rabbit into their GCP setup until they hit first measurable savings
• Be the go-to technical contact when something breaks — investigate, debug, and fix issues across data anomalies, pipelines, and BigQuery cost questions
• Advise customers on GCP cost strategy — BigQuery reservation models, slot management, billing mechanics — and how Rabbit fits in
• Run technical Q&A, troubleshooting sessions, and hands-on workshops with customer teams
• Relay field signal back to Product and Engineering — you’ll have more customer context than anyone, and the core team builds on what you surface
• When the product can’t cover a need, build a custom solution to bridge the gap and feed it back into the platform
