Job summary

Aliz is hiring a Customer Engineer to help customers across the US and the broader Americas save on GCP spend by integrating Rabbit into their GCP environments. The role is hands-on and customer-facing, focusing on onboarding, configuration, and getting customers to first measurable savings.

You will work closely with the core engineering team, but your center of gravity is the customer, not the roadmap, with initial focus on BigQuery cost optimization and scalability across petabyte-scale

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical, customer-facing role with hands-on engineering
• Deep BigQuery expertise: slots, reservations, pricing models, queries
• Strong SQL and ability to script and debug in a customer environment
• Hands-on GCP experience with production workloads
• Customer-facing instinct and ability to lead technical conversations
• Familiar with agentic coding tools in production work

Responsibilities

• Own technical adoption for a portfolio of enterprise customers: onboarding, configuration, and integrating Rabbit into their GCP setup until first measurable savings
• Be the go-to technical contact when issues arise: investigate, debug, and fix data anomalies, pipelines, and BigQuery questions
• Advise customers on GCP cost strategy and how Rabbit fits in
• Run technical Q&A, troubleshooting sessions, and hands-on workshops with customer teams
• Relay customer context to Product and Engineering to shape the roadmap
• When needed, build a custom solution to bridge gaps while folding needs back into the platform
