Job summary

WaveStrong is seeking a BigID SME Consultant to lead end-to-end deployments, upgrades, and integrations of the BigID platform for enterprise clients in a remote engagement. You will work directly with customers to implement data discovery, classification, and cataloging across on-prem and cloud sources, including AWS/Azure/GCP, and configure privacy policies.

The role requires hands-on BigID experience, API and Linux skills, and the ability to guide projects independently in a professional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/InfoSec or related field.
• Hands-on BigID experience with data governance/privacy tooling.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, Linux, scripting (Python and Shell), and cloud platforms.
• Experience in a Professional Services or consulting role.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Proven ability to lead projects independently.

• Lead BigID deployments and upgrades across on-prem and cloud environments.

• Integrate BigID with databases, data lakes, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and SaaS applications.

• Support data privacy workflows such as DSAR, consent management, and data retention.
• Develop and customize BigID scans, connectors, and metadata ingestion.
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance.
