Job summary

A staffing agency is seeking an experienced individual to implement and configure BigID for data discovery and classification across diverse platforms. The role involves integrating BigID with cloud services like AWS, Azure, and GCP, supporting data privacy workflows, and developing custom scans. Ideal candidates should have strong knowledge of data regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.

Qualifications

• Proven experience implementing and configuring BigID for data management.
• Strong understanding of data privacy laws such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Ability to integrate BigID with various databases and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Implement and configure BigID for data discovery and classification.
• Integrate BigID with cloud platforms and SaaS applications.
• Support data privacy workflows and develop BigID scans.
• Support data privacy workflows such as DSAR and consent management.
• Develop BigID scans, connectors and metadata ingestion.
• Collaborate with security, compliance and governance teams on regulatory requirements.
• Perform BigID upgrades, patching and performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot BigID issues and provide production support.
• Create technical documentation and support audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and configure BigID for data discovery, classification, and cataloging across structured and unstructured data sources
• Integrate BigID with databases, data lakes, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and SaaS applications
• Configure PII, PHI, PCI, GDPR, CCPA policies and data classification rules
• Support data privacy workflows such as DSAR, consent management, and data retention
• Develop and customize BigID scans, connectors, and metadata ingestion
• Work with security, compliance, and governance teams to meet regulatory requirements
• Perform BigID upgrades, patching, and performance tuning
• Troubleshoot BigID issues and provide production support
• Create technical documentation and support audits
