Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking an BI Software Engineer I to design and support BI applications across multiple sites. You will work with BI Architects to develop dashboards, integrate BI platforms with enterprise systems, and modernize existing BI solutions.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in BI, strong Tableau/Sigma experience, and skills in Python or JavaScript along with data modeling. Remote options may be available; on-site work is common at Beachwood, OH.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on BI development with Tableau.
• Heads-on Tableau and Sigma dashboard development experience.
• 3+ years of data analysis experience.
• Data modeling experience is preferred.
• Experience with Python or JavaScript and data visualization libraries.
• Experience with AWS cloud environments is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to work with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support BI applications with BI Architects and staff engineers.
• Maintain and modernize BI systems and assist integration with enterprise systems.
• Create dashboards and reports for stakeholders; gather reporting requirements.
• Participate in data warehouse design and data modeling activities.
• Document BI tools and data warehouse contents; provide production support.
