Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC is seeking a BI Software Engineer I to design and support BI applications, dashboards, and data warehouse components. You will collaborate with BI architects and engineers across multiple projects, while maintaining and modernizing BI systems and enabling enterprise data integration.

The role involves requirements gathering, reporting, triage of production issues, and producing technical documentation. A strong foundation in BI tools and data analysis is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent software development experience.
• At least 5 years of technology experience
• 3+ years of hands-on experience building BI applications using tools such as Tableau
• Hands-on experience with Tableau and/or Sigma dashboard development
• 3+ years of experience in Data Analysis
• Experience with data modeling is preferred
• Experience with scripting languages (Python or JavaScript) and data visualization libraries

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support BI applications with BI Architects and staff engineers
• Maintain and modernize existing BI systems and support integration with enterprise systems
• Contribute to data warehouse design and data modeling
• Design and implement BI applications with database and data warehouse integration
• Create technical documentation for BI tools
• Triage production issues and provide user support
• Be primary contact and lead support for one or more BI applications
• Collaborate with stakeholders to determine reporting requirements and develop dashboards
