Job summary

Careernet is seeking an experienced BI Manager/Lead to drive end-to-end data intelligence initiatives remotely in the United States. You will own project delivery, mentor an offshore BI team, and partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable dashboards and metrics.

The role emphasizes Tableau dashboard design, data governance, and strong SQL skills to ensure reliable reporting and scalable data pipelines, with a focus on high-quality, timely insights for business decisions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in BI, analytics, or data management roles.
• 3+ years in a leadership or managerial BI position.
• Strong project management experience in data/BI initiatives.
• Proven Tableau expertise (hands-on dashboard development and optimization).
• High SQL proficiency (complex joins, transformations).
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, templates).
• Solid understanding of ETL processes, data pipelines, and data governance.
• Strong Business Requirements Documentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in business, CS, Finance, or related field
• High English proficiency (reading, writing, communication).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end BI and data projects from requirements gathering to final delivery.
• Mentor offshore BI team; ensure alignment, quality, and timely execution.
• Oversee data validation, quality checks, and governance to maintain reliable reporting.
• Design, build, and maintain Tableau dashboards and performance reports.
• Collaborate with ETL and engineering teams to support and optimize data pipelines.
• Partner with business teams to define KPIs, translate needs, and communicate updates.
• Identify process improvements and drive best practices across BI operations.
