Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced BI Developer to design and deliver dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI for federal programs. The role can be fully remote within the United States for the right candidate, with responsibilities spanning development and platform administration across Tableau Server and Power BI Service.

You will collaborate with data engineers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure analytics, implement RLS, optimize performance, and support governance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 9+ years of experience in BI.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• US citizenship is required.
• 4+ years' hands-on Tableau dashboard development experience.
• 4+ years' hands-on Power BI dashboard development experience.
• Proficient in SQL for data querying and validation.
• Strong knowledge of DAX and Power Query for data modeling.
• Experience with Tableau Server admin and Power BI Service admin.
• Experience implementing RLS in Tableau and Power BI.
• Experience embedding BI dashboards with SSO and API integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports in Tableau and Power BI.
• Translate complex business requirements into intuitive visualizations.
• Build operational, tactical, and executive reports for program health and KPIs.
• Develop self-service reporting and data models with reusable datasets.
