Notchwood Landscape is seeking a remote BI Specialist to turn raw data into actionable insights that guide strategy, improve operations, and drive growth for residential and commercial landscapes.

The role focuses on designing and maintaining BI solutions, analyzing sales, operations and profitability, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver clear, impactful reports and dashboards across our remote team in the United States.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as BI Specialist or similar analytical role.
• Strong proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Excellent SQL skills for complex querying, data extraction, and manipulation.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear reports and dashboards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/DS/Statistics/Business Analytics preferred.
• Experience in landscaping, construction, or service-based industries is a plus.
• Familiarity with data warehousing principles and ETL processes desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions, including reports, dashboards, and data visualisations to support business objectives.
• Analyse complex data sets related to sales performance, operational efficiency, project profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across the company to understand their data requirements and deliver insightful analytical solutions.
• Identify key trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement through data analysis and present findings to senior management.
• Manage and improve data quality, integrity, and accuracy within our systems.
• Extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse to ensure it is ready for analysis.
• Develop and implement standardised reporting processes to ensure consistency and reliability of information.
