Job summary

Ascend Healthcare is seeking a BHMP Team Lead to oversee a dedicated team of BHMPs at their designated CHC site while delivering direct patient care. The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional leadership, monitoring schedule utilization, encounter completion, and documentation timeliness to align team performance with organizational goals.

The Team Lead will support onboarding, provider engagement, and workflow optimization, and may assist with projects across service lines.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C or PMHNP license (required).
• 1+ years of clinical experience in psychiatry (required).
• 1+ years of leadership experience (preferred).
• Prior policy and procedure development experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the Ascend model; 85% clinical work, 15% admin duties.
• Oversee BHMPs; monitor productivity and documentation timeliness.
• Support onboarding and integration of new BHMPs; coach and evaluate performance.
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations and Therapy leadership to optimize workflows.
• Lead policy development and quality assurance initiatives; address routine clinical questions.
