Job summary

Fisher Agencies American Income seeks motivated professionals for remote Benefits Sales Representative roles. This is a 1099 independent contractor position with commission-based pay and no guaranteed salary or hourly wage.

Representatives meet with clients virtually to review needs, explain insurance options, and guide families toward suitable coverage while participating in structured onboarding and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must hold, or be willing to obtain, the appropriate state life/health insurance license before licensed activity.
• Training and coaching are provided; prior insurance experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual appointments with prospective and existing clients.
• Follow up with company-sourced leads and benefit requests.
• Educate families about available benefits and insurance options.
• Identify client needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
• Manage follow-up activity and maintain an organized client pipeline.
• Complete ongoing product, sales, compliance, and professional development training.
• Maintain required state licensing and follow applicable regulations.
• Develop sales and leadership capabilities through ongoing coaching.
