Cardinal Health is seeking a full-time Benefits Eligibility and Authorization professional in the US, with remote work hours stated as Mon-Fri 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST. The role focuses on medical billing, reimbursement, and problem-solving as a liaison to customers.

Responsibilities include physician interactions, documentation reviews, and strict adherence to SOPs. Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED and healthcare or call center experience.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred.
• Basic math skills preferred.
• Medical and Healthcare experience preferred.
• Call Center Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Physician interactions (verbal calls, clinical prescribing questions, diagnosis validation, outbound fax resolution, etc)
• Reviews and executes according to departmental SOPs for medical documentation
• High attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
• Achieve productivity measures and maintain standardized quality metrics
• Identify, support and demonstrate the Company's culture and values to ensure quality service to both internal and external customers
