Job summary

Cardinal Health's Benefits Eligibility and Authorization team provides services to customers relating to medical billing, medical reimbursement, and other related problem-solving activities.

Responsibilities include physician interactions, reviewing medical documentation per SOPs, maintaining high attention to detail, and meeting productivity and quality targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred.
• Basic math skills preferred.
• Medical and Healthcare experience preferred.
• Call Center Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Physician interactions (verbal calls, clinical prescribing questions, diagnosis validation, outbound fax resolution, etc)
• Reviews and executes according to departmental SOPs for medical documentation
• High attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
• Achieve productivity measures and maintain standardized quality metrics
• Identify, support and demonstrate the Company's culture and values to ensure quality service to both internal and external customers
