Job summary

Alliant Insurance Services is seeking an Assistant Benefits Analyst for Voluntary Benefits across multiple U.S. locations. You will support Producers by servicing existing accounts, soliciting new business, and maintaining client relationships while handling renewals and coverage details.

The role emphasizes accuracy in policy review, data integrity, and coordination with underwriters, clients, and carriers. A valid license and CE compliance are required, with potential remote work options.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Four or more years related work experience.
• Must hold a valid Insurance License and continue CE for license renewal.

Responsibilities

• Package and market applications to carriers to obtain quotes.
• Negotiate prices, commissions, and/or coverages with carriers.
• Review policies, identify deficiencies and determine appropriate level of coverage.
• Manage renewal process for expiring policies.
• Review client accounting history, respond to inquiries, and correct discrepancies including past due accounts.
• Participate in client meetings to review coverage.
• Gather information for applications.
• Prepare presentations and proposals for clients.
• Research requests for information from underwriters.
• Compose correspondence to insured and/or underwriters.
• Discuss renewal and/or new business marketing strategy with producer or supervisor.
• Prepare draft certificate templates for review and approval.
• Analyze certificate requests and ensure client needs are met.
• Input applications and create letters and other forms of correspondence.
• Bind insurance coverage and prepare binders.
• Maintain data standards and integrity in agency systems.
• Other duties as assigned.
