Gaylord Insurance Agency in Illinois seeks an experienced Benefits Account Manager to independently manage a book of group benefits and lead a service team. This hybrid, full-time role requires advanced Employee Navigator knowledge and strong carrier relationships.

You will work with HR leaders and business owners, handle renewals, underwriting, rate analysis, and open enrollment, and ensure accurate benefits administration and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Advanced Employee Navigator knowledge and Illinois insurance licenses.
• Experience with renewal negotiation and new business quoting.
• Strong data auditing, benefits administration, and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a book of group medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and ancillary benefit accounts.
• Serve as the primary contact for HR managers, business owners, employees, carriers, payroll providers, and vendors.
• Provide proactive, professional support regarding coverage, eligibility, claims, billing, enrollment, and policy questions.
• Lead and develop benefits service team and train staff on Employee Navigator and processes.
• Manage renewals, audits, and open enrollment coordination.
