Job summary

CSU seeks a remote Faculty Mentor to aid learners in achieving educational objectives using relevant tools and materials. You will support courses across BA, MA, MS and PsyD with instructional and mentoring responsibilities in a fully online environment.

The role emphasizes effective written and verbal instruction, adherence to university policies, and active engagement in scholarly activities and community service. Remote work from the United States is expected.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree in Clinical psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or related behavioral science.
• Active license in good standing: Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
• Minimum three years of online teaching experience with learning management systems; Canvas LMS preferred.
• Proficiency with Office 365, Teams and Zoom; reliable internet for streaming.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate courses and serve on doctoral committees as chair or member.
• Provide effective and responsive academic instruction, counseling, and mentoring to learners.
• Respond to learner inquiries within 48 hours and provide substantive feedback within 3 calendar days.
• Mentor adjunct mentors and participate in course development and revision processes.
• Engage in university and programmatic assessment activities and accreditation efforts.
• Maintain gradebooks and documentation using Canvas; communicate via official channels.
• Support learner retention, engagement and success across programs (BA, MA, MS, PsyD).
