Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Utilization Management Clinician to support members remotely, with Louisiana preferred. The role requires licensed behavioral health or psychiatric RN, 3+ years of experience, and EMR proficiency.

Work schedule Sunday-Thursday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM CST; remote flexibility. Join a team focused on evidence-based care, utilization management decisions, and discharge planning, collaborating with providers and care teams to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

Active Louisiana Behavioral Health license (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, LPCC, LPAT, LPC) or
Active Compact RN license with psychiatric experience

Responsibilities

Review behavioral health services to determine medical necessity and appropriateness of care
Apply evidence-based guidelines and clinical best practices
Coordinate utilization management decisions with providers and care teams
Provide triage support and crisis intervention as needed
Facilitate discharge planning and transitions of care
Identify members at risk and coordinate referrals to programs and services
Promote cost-efficient healthcare utilization and positive member outcomes
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support comprehensive care management
