Job summary

CVS Health in a remote role seeks a licensed Behavioral Health clinician or Psychiatric RN to support utilization management for members. You will assess medical necessity, apply guidelines, and collaborate with care teams.

This position requires active Louisiana licenses, 3+ years of behavioral health practice, and EMR experience. Scheduling Sunday through Thursday, CST, with occasional weekends; strong communication across teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed Behavioral Health clinician with an active license in Louisiana.
• Active, unrestricted Compact RN license with psychiatric experience.

Responsibilities

• Review behavioral health services and treatment plans to determine medical necessity.
• Apply evidence-based guidelines and clinical best practices across levels of care.
• Coordinate and communicate utilization management decisions with providers and care teams.
• Provide triage support and crisis intervention as needed.
• Facilitate discharge planning and transitions of care.
• Identify at-risk members and coordinate referrals to programs.
