Centene Management Company LLC is recruiting a Behavioral Health Medical Director for a fully remote role. You will support case reviews, education, and process improvement across markets and states while guiding utilization management and quality initiatives.

The position requires board certification in Psychiatry, an active MD/DO license, and strong leadership in medical management to improve affordability and outcomes for members.

Qualifications

• Board certification in psychiatry per ABMS/AOA, active state license without restrictions.
• Active medical licensure and board certification in Psychiatry are required.
• Experience in Utilization Management or related quality initiatives preferred.

Responsabilités

• Direct and coordinate medical management, quality improvement and credentialing activities for the business unit.
• Lead utilization management, cost containment and medical quality improvement efforts.
• Perform medical reviews related to utilization review, quality assurance, and complex cases.
• Collaborate with care management, network providers and committees to improve care quality and outcomes.
