Presbyterian Medical Services, Inc. is seeking a Remote Behavioral Health Intake Coordinator to serve as the first contact for individuals seeking behavioral health services.

You will perform psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, and care coordination to connect clients with timely care and community resources. The role requires an independent licensed mental health professional with a Master’s degree, experience in intake/triage, and residency in NM or TX.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Current independent licensure as LPCC/LISW/LCSW/LMFT/LPAT in NM or TX is required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in the mental health field.
• At least one year of intake/triage experience.
• Residence in New Mexico or Texas is required.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, including mental status exams and diagnostic evaluations.
• Determine medical necessity and appropriate levels of behavioral health care.
• Provide crisis intervention, triage, and short-term support during urgent situations.
• Coordinate referrals to internal and external behavioral health and community resources.
• Serve as the primary contact for new client inquiries and service requests.
• Complete intake screenings and documentation.
• Provide active case management and follow-up to ensure connection to services.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and outcomes.

Presbyterian Medical Services (PMS) is seeking a dedicated Remote Behavioral Health Intake Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for individuals seeking behavioral health services.

In this role, you will conduct comprehensive psychosocial and diagnostic assessments, provide crisis intervention, coordinate referrals, and connect clients with appropriate treatment and community resources. Your clinical expertise will play a vital role in ensuring individuals receive timely access to quality behavioral health care and support.

This position is designed for independently licensed mental health professionals who enjoy combining assessment, crisis intervention, care coordination, and client advocacy. You will work closely with clients, families, providers, and community partners to assess needs, establish medical necessity, coordinate services, and support continuity of care.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current independent New Mexico licensure as an LPCC, LISW, LCSW, LMFT, or LPAT.

• Must reside in New Mexico or Texas.
