Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a Remote Behavioral Health Care Manager based in Florida to support complex care management for mental health and substance use needs. The role requires an active Florida license and a Master’s degree in Behavioral Health, Social Work, or Nursing, with 2–4 years of related experience.

You will assess needs via phone or in-home visits, coordinate with families and providers, and develop ongoing care plans while ensuring regulatory compliance and patient education.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Behavioral Health or Social Work or Nursing with 2–4 years related experience.
• Licensed Master Behavioral Health Professional or RN per state contract requirements with BH experience; pediatric care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, assesses, and facilitates complex care management activities for mental and behavioral health needs to provide high quality, cost-effective outcomes.
• Evaluates member needs via phone or in-home visits and recommends care plans or service plans.
• Coordinates between member/family, caregivers, community resources, and care team to ensure services are accessible.
• Monitors care plans and member status; provides recommendations based on treatment changes.
• Collects, documents, and maintains member information to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provides education to members and families on procedures, treatment options, referrals, and benefits.
