Job summary

TELUS Agriculture and Consumer Goods is seeking a Business Development Representative to join the TELUS Consumer Goods sales team. You will be the first link in our sales pipeline, identifying and engaging high-potential opportunities in the foodservice and retail CPG space.

You'll conduct discovery, apply BANT, and hand off only sales-ready opportunities to Account Executives, while collaborating with Marketing, Product Management, and your BDR Manager to refine outreach and improve

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years in B2B sales development or outbound prospecting roles.
• Experience in fast-growing SaaS environments.
• Proven track record of exceeding activity or pipeline targets.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with BANT or similar qualification frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead outbound prospecting campaigns via phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate net-new leads and build a pipeline.
• Conduct discovery calls to understand business challenges and tailor messaging.
• Apply BANT to evaluate leads and hand off only sales-ready opportunities.
• Maintain understanding of TELUS Consumer Goods solution portfolio to represent value.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, and your BDR Manager to refine discovery questions and improve qualification.
• Maintain Salesforce records to track lead flow and enable pipeline visibility.
