Job summary

Blutic is seeking an experienced Batch Architect to own and optimize batch processing end‑to‑end. You will drive architecture strategy, modernization, and performance tuning across the enterprise, with a focus on healthcare batch workflows and IT best practices.

This is a 100% remote role for a 12‑month project, requiring alignment with Pacific time work hours. You will partner with IT leadership to ensure SLAs are met and technical debt is reduced.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in batch architecture and ownership of batch schedules.
• Healthcare domain experience is required.
• Strong automation and analytics tooling knowledge.
• Proficient in SQL and batch performance tuning.
• Experience with enterprise batch workflows and SLAs.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern enterprise batch schedule and alignment with IT strategies.
• Define batch architecture, modernization, and scalability initiatives.
• Analyze and optimize batch workflows to remove bottlenecks.
• Implement tuning strategies to improve efficiency and resilience.
• Establish best practices and automation frameworks for batch processing.
• Collaborate across application, infra, and business teams to meet SLAs.
• Reduce technical debt and improve operational state of batch processing.
• Work with Automic Automation to design and optimize workflows.
• Leverage AAI for dashboards and predictive insights.
• Provide expert troubleshooting and root cause analysis for failures.
• Develop automation scripts and monitoring integrations.
