Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a remote monitoring technician to troubleshoot mechanical and building automation systems from a centralized center. You will monitor alarms, perform remote diagnostics, and elevate issues to dispatch teams to ensure SLAs are met.

The role operates in a shift-based environment across US/Canada, with in-office work at Glendale, WI and occasional remote eligibility after probation. Strong HVAC knowledge and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in Building Automation Systems, Controls, or related discipline; 3+ years remote diagnostics of HVAC/mechanical systems required.
• Basic to intermediate HVAC knowledge required.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical and building automation alarms remotely and elevate incidents per protocols.
• Maintain customer site logs and documentation of events.
• Provide high-quality remote support to North America accounts 24/7/365.
