Job summary
Kimmel & Associates is seeking a Building Automation Engineer to develop and implement BAS and HVAC control systems. The role involves programming, commissioning, and coordinating with project teams on diverse BAS projects, from design through turnover, with a fully remote arrangement within Wisconsin.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in building automation or HVAC controls and holds an Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with building automation, HVAC controls, or related technical field.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, HVAC Technology, or related field.
- Ability to understand HVAC systems, electrical systems, and read and interpret drawings.
Responsibilities
- Develop, program, and implement Building Automation Systems (BAS) and HVAC control systems.
- Support system integration, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Interpret mechanical, electrical, and control drawings.
- Develop and review control drawings, submittals, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders.
- Support project execution from design through commissioning and turnover.
- Stay current with Building Automation Technologies and industry standards.
