Job summary

Kimmel & Associates is seeking a Building Automation Engineer for a fully remote role serving Wisconsin project sites. The position focuses on programming, integration, commissioning and documentation of BAS/HVAC control systems.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in building automation, strong ability to read drawings and knowledge of BACnet, Niagara/Tridium, Distech or Honeywell. Travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of building automation/HVAC controls experience.
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical and control drawings.
• Knowledge of BAS platforms such as BACnet, Niagara/Tridium, Distech or Honeywell.

Responsibilities

• Develop, program and implement building automation and HVAC control systems.
• Support system integration, testing and commissioning activities.
• Interpret and review mechanical, electrical and control drawings and submittals.
• Develop control drawings and project documentation; assist with troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with PMs, engineers, technicians and stakeholders.
• Support project execution from design through turnover and stay current with BAS technologies.
