Job summary

CampusWorks is seeking an experienced Banner Programmer/Technical Consultant to support higher education clients. This 1099 project-based role offers remote work flexibility while delivering Banner integrations, testing, and system administration.

You will collaborate with client teams to design and implement future-state Banner solutions, patch and install base applications, and train end users across multiple institutions. A strong background in Banner and Ellucian tools is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Banner experience at higher education institutions.
• Experience with all Banner modules and SaaS migrations.
• Knowledge of Java, Groovy, GIT, Banner SSB 9, and Admin Page development.
• Familiarity with Ellucian products and data integration tools (Boomi, Axiom, Talend, Azure Data Factory, Informatica).
• Experience with SSL, patches, and Banner patching/installation processes.
• SQL Server, Oracle, and data migrations (ETL) skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop Banner integrations with Workflow, Automic, or Shell scripting.
• Perform programming/analysis and testing via Banner Studio.
• Support Banner/Ellucian module projects and SaaS migrations.
• Patch, clone, and install Banner base applications.
• Provide Banner system administration and monitoring.
• Manage backups, updates, and releases; deliver end-user training.
