Job summary

Harris & Harris Ltd, a Chicago-based revenue recovery firm, is seeking a Bankruptcy Clerk to process bankruptcy packets, notate accounts, and handle client correspondence. The role combines in-office and remote work, requiring attention to detail and efficient data entry in Laserfiche, CUBS, and Latitude.

Responsibilities include email processing, document uploads, and ensuring accurate notations across client systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of bankruptcy documents and case preferred.
• Typing speed of 40 wpm with high accuracy.
• Strong time management and ability to prioritize projects with changing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Work all Bankruptcy emails - downloading the documents from the emails and uploading to Laserfiche to be worked.
• Processing Bankruptcies in CUBS & Latitude.
• Process any Bankruptcy email verification.
• Process special client requests.
• Sorting Bankruptcy mail in the office once a week.
• Accurately notate accounts when working in various client systems.
• Produce high-quality work and pay close attention to detail.
• Ability to remain focused with detailed and repetitive data entry.
• Other tasks and duties as assigned.
