Job summary

Harris & Harris, Ltd. in Chicago, IL seeks a Bankruptcy Clerk to manage bankruptcy packets, notations, and correspondence. The role supports CUBS/Latitude processing and Laserfiche uploads to ensure accurate, timely documentation.

You will work primarily in-office with some remote days and a typical 8:00am–5:00pm CST schedule. Must have a high school diploma and knowledge of bankruptcy documents; ability to type 40 wpm and manage multiple priorities is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of bankruptcy documents and case management preferred.
• Ability to type quickly (40 wpm) with high accuracy.
• Demonstrated history of effective time management and prioritizing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle bankruptcy emails and download/upload documents to Laserfiche.
• Process bankruptcies in CUBS and Latitude and verify emails.
• Notate accounts accurately across client systems.
• Perform high-quality, detail-oriented data entry and repetitive tasks.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
