Job summary

Brock & Scott, PLLC is seeking a detail-oriented Bankruptcy Legal Assistant for a remote, full-time role. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a bankruptcy creditor rights firm and can prepare and e-file proofs of claim while communicating clearly with clients and team members.

Responsibilities include analyzing case status, processing data expeditiously, and coordinating with attorneys and clients to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years Bankruptcy – Creditor Rights Law Firm experience.
• Experience preparing and e-filing Proof of Claims.
• Polished and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven record of dependability and ability to work well independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and electronically file Proof of Claims.
• Analyze case status, docket and claims register activity, and account data/history.
• Process files promptly and provide timely notifications to clients.
• Retrieval and processing of incoming data and documentation; handle outgoing data.
• Coordinate between firm/attorneys, clients, and 3rd parties; follow firm policies.
