Job summary

Brock & Scott, PLLC in Winston-Salem is seeking a detail-oriented Bankruptcy Legal Assistant for a full-time remote role. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a bankruptcy-creditor rights practice and will handle Proof of Claims filing and case status analysis.

You will support attorneys, coordinate with clients and third parties, and contribute to efficient processing and documentation while upholding firm policies and client directives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years Bankruptcy – Creditor Rights Law Firm experience.
• Experience preparing and e-filing Proof of Claims.
• Proficiency analyzing case status, docket and claims register activity, and account data/history.
• Polished and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Dependability and ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and electronically file Proof of Claims
• Analyze case status, docket and claims activity, and account data/history
• Process files expeditiously
• Provide timely notifications/documentation to clients
• Retrieve and process incoming data and documentation
• Submit and process outgoing data and documentation
• Liaise between firm/attorneys, clients, and third parties
• Perform duties in line with company policies to achieve goals
