Job summary

Scura, Wigfield, Heyer, Cammarota & Gonzalez, LLP seeks an experienced Bankruptcy Attorney to join its expanding practice. You will independently manage Chapter 7, 13, and 11 matters from inception through completion while maintaining strong client interaction and timely service.

The position offers autonomy in a collaborative environment with opportunities for increased leadership as the firm grows. NJ bar in good standing and 2+ years of consumer bankruptcy experience required.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree required and active NJ Bar admission.
• Minimum 2+ years in consumer bankruptcy law, handling contested matters and a high-volume caseload.
• Strong legal research and writing skills; excellent communication with team and clients.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload of Chapter 7, 13, and 11 matters from inception through completion.
• Represent clients in contested matters, adversary proceedings, and bankruptcy-related litigation.
• Maintain substantial client interaction while providing high-quality advice and meeting strict deadlines.
• Draft motions, objections, briefs, and other legal documents.
