Job summary

Affirm is reinventing credit with a remote-first approach, seeking a Bank Compliance Technology Analyst to advance BSA/AML programs through robust systems, rules, and workflows. You will partner across Compliance, Engineering, and Data to ensure scalable controls and audit readiness.

You will build monitoring rules, EDD workflows, and case-management improvements, translate requirements into technical specs, test changes, and deliver dashboards for leadership and regulators.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supporting compliance technology, BSA/AML, or related banking risk systems.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into technical workflows and controls.
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven investigation of control performance.

Responsibilities

• Support design and operation of BSA/AML and compliance programs.
• Build and maintain transaction-monitoring rules and risk-rating capabilities.
• Configure case-management systems, workflows, and escalation processes.
• Translate compliance requirements into system logic and operational procedures.
• Test rules and system changes before and after deployment.
• Monitor data quality, system reliability, and control outcomes.
• Develop dashboards and reporting for governance, audits, and examinations.
• Document system logic and testing, including changes and remediation.
• Coordinate issues and roadmap priorities across teams and vendors.
• Assist with adapting compliance tech to new products and regulatory changes.
