Job summary

Domaine, the world's largest independent Shopify design and development partner, is seeking an experienced backend Tech Lead. This client-facing role combines hands-on development with ownership of technical approaches and estimates in an agency setting.

You will ship production-ready code for enterprise brands, guide integration patterns (ERP/OMS/PIM), and mentor teammates in an agency environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with PHP/Laravel or JS/Node and databases (PostgreSQL).
• Hands-on with AWS and Linux; familiarity with React is a plus.
• Strong data modeling and data migration skills.
• Deep Shopify integration experience and API usage.

Responsibilities

• Develop integrations using PHP/Laravel or JS/Node with focus on reliability and security.
• Communicate with clients to define requirements, timelines, and scope.
• Lead project grooming, define timelines, and review code for quality.
• Provide guidance on middleware architecture and Shopify integration patterns.
