Job summary

Avenue Code is seeking a Backend Engineer to join our Data Infrastructure engineering team. You will build and operate an analytics platform with OLAP capabilities to support data-driven decisions for internal teams and the music industry.

You will collaborate across squads to improve reliability, implement scalable data models, and develop internal tools that accelerate integration with the analytics platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience with distributed datastores and backend services.
• Proficient in Java and eager to learn Kubernetes, Terraform.
• Experience with OLAP databases and analytics warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Build, operate, and evolve data analytics platform that includes backend services and OLAP data store (Druid).
• Build internal tooling, libraries, and services that streamline integration patterns with our analytics platform.
• Advocate for best practices in service design, data modeling, schema evolution, and contract testing.
