Qualifications

• 2+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong GoLang and/or Node.js experience.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems.
• Experience with APIs, real-time data processing, and microservices architectures.
• Strong SQL skills; experience with DynamoDB, Redis or Elasticsearch.
• Proficiency with Git, IDEs, shell scripting, CI/CD.
• Proficient in English for clear communication in a global, remote team.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize backend systems for real-time data processing and web services.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate backend components with other services, ensuring performance and scalability.
• Conduct deep dives into problematic features, research, experiments, and translate findings into improvements.
• Performance tuning, debugging, and testing of backend systems; share engineering best practices.
• This role includes participation in a shared on-call rotation with balanced coverage.
• Mentor junior developers to help the team grow in mission and abilities.
