Job summary

FELICIS is seeking a senior backend engineer to own core systems for fraud and risk decisioning. You will design efficient Postgres queries and Node.js APIs, while building AI-enabled features with AWS Bedrock in partnership with stakeholders.

The role requires 5+ years of backend experience, Node.js/TypeScript expertise, and a track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams to scope and deliver new product capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with backend services.
• Hands-on expertise in SQL optimization.
• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript; experience gathering requirements with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own core backend systems for fraud and risk decisioning, designing performant Postgres queries and Node.js APIs.
• Build and extend AI-driven features using AWS Bedrock in collaboration with stakeholders to define and scope new product features.
