Interdependence in Chicago is seeking a proactive and creative Senior Account Executive to join our B2B Tech PR team. You’ll support and execute campaigns for well-known consumer brands, secure top-tier media placements, and help deliver strong results for clients.

This role emphasizes strong media instincts, writing skills, and storytelling. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across functions, work remotely, and contribute to a fast-growing firm that values ownership and initiative.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in public relations or media — agency experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated success pitching media and securing coverage
• Strong writing and editing skills; AP Style familiarity
• Organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in managing competing priorities
• Passion for consumer brands, culture, trends, and storytelling
• Positive, collaborative attitude with eagerness to learn and grow

Responsibilities

• Serve as a day-to-day partner to clients, ensuring projects are completed on time and exceed expectations
• Support the execution of strategic B2B Tech PR plans and campaign initiatives
• Maintain organized workflows across fast-moving account activities
• Draft compelling pitches, press materials, messaging, and media communications
• Build and maintain relationships with relevant consumer media, influencers, and creators
• Secure earned media coverage in tech platforms
• Support product launches, media events, experiential activations, and influencer programs
• Conduct research and trend monitoring to inform storytelling opportunities
• Track media conversations and elevate insights that support client positioning
• Monitor campaign performance, pulling metrics and preparing client-ready reports
• Partner with creative, social, and digital teams to ensure integrated execution
• Contribute ideas in brainstorms and help shape creative PR concepts
