Altus Commercial Receivables is seeking a Business Collections Specialist for a remote/telecommute role. The specialist will contact debtors by phone, mail, or email, assess financial situations, review contracts, and work toward resolution with clients and sales teams.

Compliance and professional conduct are essential. The role emphasizes outbound/inbound calls, negotiation of payments or arrangements, and collaboration to resolve disputes while meeting monthly quotas.

Qualifications

• Experience in collections, sales, telemarketing, customer service, or call center preferred.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, data entry and strong computer skills; Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contact debtors by phone, mail, or email.
• Collaborate with clients, sales, and peers on delinquent accounts.
• Examine debtor financials, review documents/contracts and resolve disputes.
• Escalate or close cases in compliance with requirements.
