Job summary

Accuity seeks an Azure Software Engineer to own the engineering, operation, and reliability of its Azure application and data services, including Functions, APIs, health data pipelines, and storage.

Reporting to the Vice President, Data Architecture, the role leads root cause analysis, disaster recovery, and cost optimization, while shaping provisioning standards and automation across the cloud environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on software or cloud engineering experience.
• Deep experience with Azure application services (Functions, APIs, integration) and storage.
• Experience with health data standards (FHIR/HL7) preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field; Azure certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Azure application and data services including Functions, APIs, integration and messaging services.
• Own health data ingestion, transformation, and integration with clinical and revenue cycle apps.
• Develop automation to reduce manual operation of the Azure environment.
• Ensure availability, performance, and resilience of the Azure services in production.
• Lead root cause analysis and durable remediation for Azure incidents; disaster recovery testing.
