Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a cloud infrastructure engineer to maintain and troubleshoot Azure-based SaaS platforms. You will handle incident response, monitoring, and reliability improvements while collaborating with engineers and operations teams.

The role emphasizes on-call participation, runbook maintenance, and cross-team mentoring to ensure stable, scalable services for customers across the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Computer Science with 3 years experience in Azure cloud.
• Experience operating and supporting SaaS platforms in Microsoft Azure.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting IIS with .NET applications.
• Experience with SQL Server and Azure SQL Managed Instance.
• Solid knowledge of monitoring, logging, and tracing (Datadog is a plus).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving during incidents.
• Experience with Kubernetes, containerisation, and supporting tools.
• Good to have scripting/automation (C# a plus), remote desktop architecture, basic Linux.
• Security-focused engineering or compliance experience.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, particularly Terraform.
• Customer-facing incident communication experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot infrastructure, including incident response and on-call participation.
• Improve reliability through monitoring, alerting, and proactive performance management.
• Work closely with engineers, operations teams, and stakeholders to deliver reliable outcomes.
• Maintain runbooks, operational standards, and support mentoring across teams.
