Job description

Our client is searching for a DevOps Engineer for a long-term, multi-year contract that can be worked remotely.

Position Details

This position offers a pay rate of $60-65/hour on a W2 basis, with all candidates working directly for TEKsystems on a W2 basis.

Responsibilities

1. Work as part of a team of problem solvers to address complex business issues from strategy to execution.
2. Design and implement technology infrastructure, develop and enhance both client and internal-facing applications, and provide technology tools.
3. Utilize enterprise architecture across application areas to build delivery models that align capabilities with business needs.
4. Gather and analyze information from multiple sources, including stakeholder views, to develop solutions and recommendations.
5. Support application lifecycle activities, including addressing defects and implementing enhancements.
6. Implement security and infrastructure maintenance best practices.
7. Participate in troubleshooting issues within a hybrid cloud environment.
8. Troubleshoot complex incidents across various technologies and environments.

Technical Skills

1. Experience with Azure Cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) such as Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Storage Accounts, VMs, Key Vault, Azure Kubernetes Service, Redis Cache, and SignalR.
2. Experience with containerized workloads in a cloud hosting environment (Docker).
3. Knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service version 1.2.5 or higher.
4. Proficiency in C#, Python, and scripting in PowerShell and Bash.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $85.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits, which may depend on your job classification and employment duration. Benefits may include:
