Job summary

VIATEQ is seeking a Mid-Level Microsoft DevOps Engineer to support a government customer. This remote role requires the ability to obtain a Public Trust and focuses on Azure, AKS, Bicep, CI/CD, observability, and AI-enabled delivery practices.

You will work with stakeholders across cybersecurity, architecture, and operations to deliver secure, reliable platforms and to translate requirements into mission-aligned capabilities. Collaboration is key in platform services and CRM integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on platform development or integration in enterprise/government environments.
• Hands-on Azure implementation, configuration, development, integration, testing, or operations.
• Experience with Agile delivery teams and translating stakeholder needs into technical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure capabilities using Azure, AKS, Bicep, and DevOps tools.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
• Translate requirements into practical platform solutions.
• Support architecture, planning, release readiness, and production transitions.
• Develop reusable patterns, automation, and runbooks.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across platform components.
• Collaborate with security, privacy, data, and operations teams.
• Maintain clear technical documentation and design decisions.
