Job summary

SHI is seeking a data engineering Solutions Engineer to design and deliver enterprise-scale pipelines on Microsoft Azure and Fabric. You will work with Solution Engineers, Project Managers, and client stakeholders to implement secure, scalable data platforms for analytics, reporting, and AI use cases.

The role is delivery-focused, hands-on, and involves large-scale state public sector and regulated projects. Remote work with home office setup is provided under company policy.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data engineering on Azure and/or Fabric within enterprise environments.
• Experience delivering data lakes/warehouses and analytics enablement.
• Knowledge of security, governance, and regulated data handling.
• Experience in consulting or project delivery with client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement data pipelines using Azure services.
• Develop lakehouse/warehouse solutions with scalability and security.
• Collaborate with BI/analytics teams for downstream data products.
• Apply data governance, lineage, and operational readiness practices.
• Participate in workshops, discovery sessions, and requirements gathering.
• Produce design artifacts, migration plans, and runbooks.
