Job summary

SHI International Corp. seeks a Solutions Engineer, Data Engineering to design, build, and deliver enterprise-scale data pipelines using Microsoft Azure and Fabric. You will work with Solution Engineers and client stakeholders to implement secure, scalable data platforms for analytics and AI workloads.

Role is hands-on and delivery-focused, with initial emphasis on state-level public sector and regulated industry projects, including large-scale lakehouse implementations.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on data engineering on Azure and Fabric
• Experience designing/operating production data platforms
• Strong understanding of data governance and security concepts

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement data ingestion/transformation pipelines using Azure services
• Build data lakehouse and warehouse solutions in Azure and Fabric
• Collaborate with BI/analytics teams to prepare data for reporting and AI use cases
• Produce technical documentation including design artifacts and runbooks
• Follow modern engineering practices: source control, CI/CD, and environment promotion
