Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Data Engineer, Solutions & Data to design, build, and operate data pipelines that translate raw data into trusted, analytics-ready datasets. The role consolidates data from multiple sources into a central SQL-based integration point with governance and SLAs for reliable downstream consumption.

The position focuses on Azure-based data platforms, data quality, and cross-functional collaboration in a hybrid U.S. office environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in data engineering and/or data platform engineering.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Experience with Azure data services (Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Event Hubs, SSIS).
• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and data warehousing fundamentals.
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Data Pipeline Engineering & Integration: Build, operationalize, and govern data pipelines and publish analytics-ready data.
• Data Platform & Storage: Design and implement data pipelines using Azure data tech to ingest, process, and deliver data.
• Data Quality, Reliability & Operations: Identify and resolve data issues, monitor pipelines, ensure reliability and governance.
