Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced AWS Platform Specialist to design, build, and operate large-scale, secure AWS platforms. This remote, full-time role emphasizes hands-on engineering across architecture, IaC, automation, security, observability, and continuous improvement of production workloads.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of cloud engineering experience, with at least three years focused on AWS in production environments.
• Hands-on experience with AWS core services: EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, CloudFormation.
• Proficient with infrastructure-as-code tools: Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
• Experience designing/operating EKS or ECS clusters at scale.
• CI/CD pipelines across infrastructure and application workloads.
• Scripting in Python and Bash; Go or PowerShell is a plus.
• Deep understanding of cloud security, IAM, encryption, and compliance requirements.
• Observability, monitoring, and alerting in cloud-native environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate large-scale, secure cloud platforms on AWS.
• Architect and implement infrastructure-as-code and automation enhancements.
• Ensure highly available, cost-aware cloud solutions with security in mind.
• Collaborate with application security and SRE teams for resilience.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infra and app workloads.
• Document architectures, runbooks, and operational procedures.
• Provide guidance on cloud security, encryption, and governance.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and optimize performance.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders.
