Job summary

Trilon is seeking an AWS Infrastructure Engineer to architect, optimize, and support our AWS-based Deltek Vantagepoint environment and related ERP infrastructure. The role requires hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (RDS & EC2), AWS cloud architecture, and enterprise-scale systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong Windows Server administration in AWS, experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or Vision, and a focus on security, backups, HA, DR, and cost optimization across multi-region

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing AWS services including EC2, RDS, VPC, Route53, IAM, CloudWatch, SNS.
• 1+ year of experience developing or supporting serverless AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions).
• 2+ years of direct Deltek Vantagepoint or Deltek Vision support in AWS environments.
• Experience administering AWS infrastructure for Deltek ERP apps and databases.
• Strong Windows Server administration in AWS-hosted enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage production MS SQL Server deployments on AWS RDS and EC2.
• Maintain and optimize AWS infra supporting Deltek Vantagepoint/Deltek Vision and SSRS reporting.
• Support ERP integrations and automated data workflows with AWS.
• Design backups, PITR, HA, and multi-region DR for databases.
• Troubleshoot infra bottlenecks, optimize storage and performance, right-size AWS resources.
• Enforce enterprise security standards across AWS (IAM, network segmentation, encryption).
• Maintain technical documentation for AWS architecture, databases, integrations, and SOPs.
