Job summary

SCS Engineers in Long Beach is seeking an ERP Systems Administrator to own the Deltek Vantagepoint backend, including database administration, SQL development, reports, and system upgrades. You will collaborate with Finance, IT, and vendors to ensure secure, stable ERP operations.

This hybrid role requires 8+ years ERP experience (Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint preferred), strong T-SQL, SSRS, Power BI, and SQL Server skills, plus excellent documentation and cross‑functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field.
• 8+ years of ERP experience required (Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint preferred).
• 4+ years hands-on ERP systems administration experience.
• Proven experience with T‑SQL and SQL Server Management Studio.
• Experience in SQL Server database administration and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with SSRS report development.
• Power BI or other BI experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as co-administrator of the Deltek Vantagepoint ERP system.
• Configure, monitor, and maintain ERP environments including DR.
• Provide technical support for upgrades, patches, and failover testing.
• Write and manage T‑SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts.
• Maintain database health, performance tuning, and SQL Server Agent jobs.
• Design, maintain, and troubleshoot SSRS reports for internal departments.
• Assist with Power BI and other BI tools as needed.
• Manage user access roles and ensure data security and compliance.
