Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking an experienced AWS FinOps Analyst to lead cloud financial management and optimization across a large-scale AWS environment. You will collaborate with Cloud Engineering, Platform Operations, Finance, and executives to improve cost visibility and governance, driving measurable savings and FinOps maturity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in AWS cloud financial management, FinOps, or cloud cost optimization.
• FinOps Certified Practitioner (FOCP) and/or FOCUS Certified.
• Strong experience with AWS cost management services (Cost Explorer, CUR, Budgets).
• Experience working with executive stakeholders, business leaders, and cloud engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze enterprise AWS spending and identify opportunities to optimize cloud costs across compute, storage, databases, networking, containers, and serverless services.
• Lead AWS FinOps initiatives focused on cost transparency, forecasting, and governance.
• Conduct AWS Well-Architected Framework reviews, emphasizing Cost Optimization.
• Develop business cases, ROI analyses, and executive-level recommendations for cloud optimization.
• Improve RI and Savings Plans utilization and related cost governance.
• Create and maintain cloud financial dashboards and KPI reporting for stakeholders.
